Who are you?
Based in or near Hastings, enthusiastic, willing to learn, self-motivated and organised, you will have attention to detail, flexibility and strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team and independently.
The Role
- Review commissioning results provided by commissioning engineer against design requirements and draft certificates (Residential Sprinkler Systems, Commercial Sprinkler Systems, Wet Risers, Dry Risers, Passive Fire Protection, Electrical & Fire Doors)*.
- Liaise with PM/Installation team to clarify any discrepancies, such high flow rates, valves left closed etc.
- Check contract and payment terms to make sure they are up to date before certificate is issued. If necessary liaise with Finance.
- Draft Technical Submittals* based on quote, drawing and other tender documentation to make sure information collated is correct, and issued to clients.
- Review completion documentation provided by site team and collate/issue Q&M manual. Ensuring correct material (installed), drawing reflect install.
- Liaise with other departments, especially estimating and design to ascertain further clarification regarding project specification.
- Maintain site documentation on database.
- Liaise with client with regards queries on Technical Submittals*, Certificates* and other project related queries.
- Upload documents* onto portals such as 4p, Procore and maintain our document/revisions on them. Maintain company documentation and updates as appropriate because of change in process/legislation.
- Carry out internal audit of projects, as per the audit questionnaire. Visit site, if needed/required.
- Assist with completing PQQ’s and other questionnaires, as and when required.
- Assist with maintaining companies accreditations, such as CHAS, ISO etc.
- Assist with drafting new documents/procedures for new processes/depts (Triple P).
- Assist with carrying out annual Environmental Reviews (Carbon Monitoring etc).
- Assist with collating monthly reports regarding defects and feedback.
- Provide ad-hoc assistance to H&S to draft RAMS when they are not available.
