Fire Doors, Servicing and Maintenance

Triangle Fire Systems take pride in our extensive experience with various projects involving the installation, inspection and servicing of fire doors. We are dedicate to keeping tomorrow safe. Once notable projects involved inspecting 140 fire doors according to BM TRADA guidelines, We were contracted to conduct inspections and remediation in accordance with third-party certification, which resulted in the successful installation of a new fire door set on the ground floor, while the remaining remedial work is pending approval.

In addition to this, Triangle Fire Systems remediated all the fire doors at Compass Children’s Home, which encompassed the fire doors in the bedroom,s classrooms, office spaces and living area. These are just two examples of our many outstanding projects.

We take great pride in the maintenance and servicing of fire doors all across our projects. Fire doors are crucial not only for stopping the spread of fire but also for projects occupants and ensuring the overall safety of the building. Thus, adhering to maintaining regulations is essential for a thorough building safety plan, enhancing fire prevention measures and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Given their crucial role in saving lives, it is essential that fire doors undergo regular inspections. Several factors influence how often these inspections should occur. For instance, a fire door that safeguards a staircase will experience significantly more usage compared to one installed in a boiler room.

Commercial fire doors are commonly installed in offices, hotels and other commercial properties. These fire doors require inspection on a quarterly basis. In contrast, flat entrance doors serve to contain fires within a specific areas of a building, potentially providing a designate escape route that leads to a a safe zone during a fire. Inspections for this type of fire door should occur annually.

Fire doors inspections can be carried out by the building’s responsible personnel. Some clients perform visual inspections three times a year and then contact Triangle for a more thorough inspection annually, as we adhere to BM TRADA guidelines for inspecting and remediating fire doors, ensuring a more detailed and comprehensive evaluation.

If you require servicing or maintenance for fire doors, please feel free to reach out to us. We would be more then happy to assist with all your needs.
