Project brief

Triangle Fire were awarded the contract for the Fire Protection Package at College Road in Croydon.

Europe’s tallest modular residential project situated in Croydon, featuring two remarkable adjacent towers standing at 50 and 35 storeys.

The development comprises 817 built-to-rent apartments and 120 affordable homes. Tide Construction served as the main contractor for the project, alongside their sister company Vision Modular Systems.

Triangle were contracted directly by Tide Construction with responsibilities that entailed designing, installing and supplying:

• BS 9251 Residential Fire Sprinklers
• BS 12845 Commercial Fire Sprinklers
• BS 9990 Wet Risers

In both towers, a combined total of 3,210 residential sprinkler heads and 437 commercial sprinkler heads were installed.

The development also includes a stunning sky garden on the 50th floor, complete with exclusive entertainment and well-being areas and breath-taking panoramic views.
