Triangles Festive Fun

Christmas Kicking off Triangle’s festive month, the Social Committee organised another quiz night at the end of November, following the success of our initial event in October. This time the quiz was Christmas themed and employees showed up in their festive jumpers and accessories, ready to compete! The evening buzzes with enthusiasm and a strong competitive spirit, resulting in closely matched scores once again. It was a close battle, but only one team could triumphant… ‘Merry Quizmas Everyone’ claimed victory!

A week on from Quiz Night, Triangle celebrated their Christmas Party at the East Hastings Sea Angling Association Club, marking another successful year, aided by the hard work and dedication of all our staff. The event featured an abundant buffet, cocktails upon arrival, and a photographer roaming around to capture memorable moments throughout the evening. We took the opportunity to honour our employees celebrating their 10-year anniversaries this year, and everyone has a fantastic time! This year, we chose to fundraise for ‘Glow Baby’ and our employees proudly raised a total of £357 for this wonderful charity! Glow Baby is an organisation offering sensory play to children with additional needs. Due to increasing overheads and water damage in their current location, Glow Baby is finding it challenging to move into their dream home. With donations they will be able to achieve a beautiful indoor and outdoor space to continue offering children this amazing support.

On December 12th, Triangle participated in a Christmas Jumper Day to fundraise for ‘Save the Children.’ Everyone wore their best and worst Christmas jumpers for this occasion. We held a competition for best dressed, with our winner going all out and wearing a Christmas Tree! We also also organised a bake sale filled with delightful savoury and sweet treats, with all donations going to ‘Save the Children.’ In total Triangle raised £289 for this wonderful organisation, which will help to provide essential support for children and families in need.

Celebrating their first Christmas, the Social Committee organised a month full of fun! To kick off the festivities, they launched a Christmas Pet Competition, inviting everyone to submit photos of their pets sporting the best holiday accessories or outfits. The response was fantastic, with over 20 festive pet photos submitted. Next, they introduced a Crazy Christmas Sock activity, participants showcased their creativity with socks featuring turkeys in sunglasses, little bears adorned with holly, and more! To bring the festivities to a close, the Social Committee hosted a Gingerbread House competition! Triangle is grateful to everyone who participated in these activities this month, and the Social Committee eagerly anticipates a new year filled with even more fun.

We would like to express our thanks to all our employees for their hard work throughout the year, as well as  their support for all our social activities organised by the Social Committee.
