We’ve recently launched our Legacy Division, providing clients with a comprehensive solution for carrying out remedial works in occupied properties, creating a convenient one-stop shop experience.
The primary focus of the works we are currently undertaking are due to incompatible mastics that have been utilised during the build process; coming in to contact with CPVC fire sprinkler pipework. The mastics/sealants have been used, to achieve acoustic rating or fire resistance between compartment walls. Certain incompatible material coming in to contact with CPVC sprinkler pipe-works, can lead to failure of the pipework; resulting in leaks. This is due to a break down in the structure of the pipework, which is sometimes referred to as pipe degradation.
As the above can cause a large amount of damage and stress to the tenants we offer full scope of works from start to completion. As per the below:
- Removal and reinstatement of damage sections of CPVC sprinkler pipework.
- Re-pressure testing and commissioning of remediated sprinkler systems in the line with the appropriate codes of practice.
- Dry-lining to complete all builders works holes.
- Making good to all access patches completed back to finish.
- Painting of works once completed.
- Full Passive Fire stopping.
- Resident Liaison Officer to ensure works are to a high standard and help with a smooth process during the works to completion.
Although a relatively new division, we are actively involved in multiple projects, working with major main contractors such as Berkeley Group, CWC, Ardmore, Barratts and Fairview.
These efforts extend beyond fire sprinkler-related tasks. Numerous opportunities have emerged for the Triangle Legacy team to engage in various aspects of the fire safety and remedial works. This expansion aims to deliver exceptional service, offering contractors and clients peace of mind as they strive to comply with the stringent new fire safety regulations now in effect.
